On 10th March I got five postcards: two from Indonesia, one from Japan, my first card from Burundi and one from Belarus.
One of the cards from Indonesia shows a Barong Mask. Barong is a character in the mythology of Bali. He is the king of the good spirits and the nemesis of Rangda. He is featured in the Barong Dance.
EDIT:
The Three genres of traditional dance in Bali, including the Barong Dance, are since 2015 an Intangible Heritage of the UNESCO.
