Germany: Westphalian State Museum of Archaeology

On 30th March I got two postcards from Germany.

One of them shows the skull of a female Aurochs from the collection of the Westphalian State Museum of Archaeology in Herne. The Westphalian State Museum of Archaeology was originally founded in Münster, but was moved to Herne in 2003. It shows exhibits of 250000 years of human history in Westphalia.

Between September 2019 and May 2020 the museum showed a big special exhibition about the Plague. I really hoped to visit it, but could not due to Covid-19. Suitably this card got cancelled with a Covid-19 postmark.

Thank You very much Marcel!
