Malaysia: Deer Cave

On Thursday I got six postcards: one from Malaysia, one from France, three from Germany and one from the Philippines.

The card from Malaysia shows the Deer Cave in the Malaysian State of Sarawak. The Deer Cave is one of many caves at the Gunung Mulu National Park. It is known for its millions of bats from over 30 species. There is a Bat Observatory, which can be used by tourists and scientists to watch the bats without affecting their habitat or habits. The Gunung Mulu National Park is since 2000 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Stamp:
Marine Fauna (from set of four) (issued 08-06-2015)
It is a joint issue with Thailand.

Thank You very much Matthew!
