Germany: Cologne Cathedral

Today I got three postcards: one from Germany, one from Japan and one from Malaysia.

The card from Germany shows the Cologne Cathedral. Cologne is the largest city of the German State North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth largest city of Germany. The Cologne Cathedral is a Gothic masterpiece and was built from 1248 to 1880. The Cologne Cathedral is not only an architectural masterpiece but also an evidence for the strength of the Christianity in Germany. Since 1996 is the Cologne Cathedral on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The card was signed at the Postcrossing Meet-up in Cologne.
With a matching stamp:
Glücksburg Castle (from set of two) (issued 02-01-2013)
Cologne Cathedral (issued 06-03-2003)

Thank You very much Klaus!
