Germany: Wuppertal Suspension Railway

Today I got three postcards: two from Germany and one from Spain.

One of the cards from Germany shows the Wuppertal Suspension Railway. The Wuppertal Suspension Railway is a suspension railway in Wuppertal and is used as means of local public transport. It was designed by Eugen Langen and the first part of it opened in 1901 making it the oldest electric elevated railway with hanging cars in the World.

Stamp:

Thank You very much Klaus!
