Republic of Ireland: Newgrange

Yesterday I got seven postcards including one from Ireland

It shows the entrance stone of Newgrange. Newgrange is a Neolithic monument, but there is no agreement about what the site was used for. It is one of the most important Megalithic sites in Europe and a popular tourist site. Newgrange is as part of the Brú na Bóinne, the Archaeological Ensemble of the Bend of the Boyne, since 1993 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
