Spain: Poblet Monastery

Today I got a postcard from Spain.

It shows the Poblet Monastery in Catalonia. The Poblet Monastery is one of the largest Cistercian monasteries in Spain and one of the best-preserved of the Occident. It was founded in 1150 on lands conquered from the Moors. Once it was the royal pantheon of the Kings of the Crown of Aragon. Since 1991 is the Poblet Monastery on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
