Germany: Wewelsburg

On 3rd August I got six postcards: one from Germany, two from Andorra and three from Spain.

The card from Germany shows the Wewelsburg in the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Wewelsburg is one of a few castles in Germany with a triangular layout. The current castle was built between 1603 and 1609 and between 1934 and 1945 it was used by the SS. Today it houses the Historical Museum of the Prince Bishopric of Paderborn and one of the largest youth hostels in Germany.

Thank You very much Jens!
