Vietnam: Citadel of the Ho Dynasty

On Monday I got three postcards: one from Vietnam, one from the TAAF and one from China.

The card from Vietnam shows a dragon decoration from the Citadel of the Ho Dynasty. The Citadel of the Ho Dynasty was built in the 14th century according to feng shui principles. It is an outstanding example of a new style of South East Asian imperial city and testifies to the flowering of neo-Confucianism in Vietnam. Since 2011 is the Citadel of the Ho Dynasty on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
