Reformation Cards from Marburg, Wittenberg and Eisleben

On Tuesday I finally got my postcards with Reformation postmarks back.

Two of them show Marburg Castle. Marburg Castle was built in the 11th century. It was the residence of Landgraviate of Hesse and is especially known for the Marburg Colloquy held there in 1529.

It is a joint issue with Brazil.

Another card shows a portrait of Martin Luther from the painter's workshop of Lucas Cranach the Elder.

The last one was printed in Hildesheim for the Jubilee of the Reformation.
