Germany: Fischmarkt in Cologne

On Saturday I got two postcards: one from Germany and one from the United Kingdom.

The card from Germany shows the Fischmarkt in Cologne. The Fischmarkt was established in the Middle Ages as market for the fish trade. During World War II the historic buildings were destroyed, but afterwards they were rebuilt.

Stamp:
100 years of the Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Leipzig (issued 10-10-2013)

Thank You very much Marcel!
